ActionDisc - Walleye Rigging Tips

Slow-Troll Kicker Rig

This rig gives the bait a pulsing/darting action with a wide range of lateral movement.

Use a SlideLock stopper to space a Series II ActionDisc approximately 5 inches in front of the bait. Drag the rig along side the boat at trolling speed (1-2 mph) to check the action. Tune the rig by sliding the bobber stopper closer to or farther away from the bait until you get the best results.

Wiggle Action Rig

This rig allows the motion created by the disc to be transferred directly to the bait resulting in a natural swimming action. Works at virtually any trolling speed.

Slide a Series I ActionDisc on the line ahead of the bait. When trolling for long periods of time we recommend using a bead between the disc and the bait to eliminate abrasion on your knot. If you want to incorporate spinner blades or other components be sure to space them at least 4" up the line from the disc to avoid disrupting the disc's motion.
