| Classic Trolling Flies
To use ActionDiscs with trolling flies, just slide the disc on the line before you tie on the fly. We recommend using a bead between the disc and fly to eliminate any abrasion to your knot. You can also use a SlideLock stopper to adjust the distance between the fly and the disc allowing you to change the action of the fly. Click the SlideLock link for details.

| Spin Casting Flies
ActionDiscs allow you to cast flies with a spinning rod just like you would a spoon or spinner. Put a sliding egg weight on your line, slide on the ActionDisc and tie on your faviorite fly. This has become my faviorite way to fish rivers for trout and bass. |
