"The fish took a löja with a UV101 VK-baitholder with actiondisc. It hit the downrigger at 10 meters deep. I used the middle hole on the side of the baitholder at a speed of between 2.5-3 knots. The salmon was 97cm long and weighed 12030g"

The fish was the biggest salmon caught from lake Vänern during the 2008 season and is reported to be a new Åmål record.
